The DG-EFM009 series electromagnetic flowmeter is designed specifically for the flow measurement of large - wear fluid, such as cement slurry. The structural features of the sensor and the special performance of the converter fully meet the requirements of the flow measurement of the cement slurry.
DG-EFM009 is preferred to measure slurry fluid such as pulp, mud, and coal-water slurry. With high frequency switching excitation and proprietary slurry-noise reduction technology, DG-EFM009 can accurately measure the flow of slurry fluid with good stability.
The key technology to measure slurry fluid is to remove the slurry-noise and recover real flow signal from complicated noise signal. Based on slurry fluid mathematical models and signal processing technique, raw signals are processed and real flow signals are recovered.
Difficulties in the composition and measurement of cement slurry
1.The cement slurry contains a large amount of solid particles and friction electrode, resulting in “spike pulse interference”, which causes great fluctuations in the measurement of the flowmeter
2.Flow fluctuation caused by the pulsation of the pressure pump (such as the screw pump, diaphragm pump and piston pump);
3.After the fluid stops flowing, the electrode and the inner lining will adhere to the cement slurry
4.The serious wear of the coal slurry to the lining and electrode of the electromagnetic flowmeter is also a difficult point for the designers.
